Supply Chain Manager Main Activities Ideal Supply Chain Candidate owns proven capabilities and experience to perform supply chain activities as described hereunder: 1. Identify, prioritize, and aggregate FMS SCM requirements. 2. Develop and control FMS SCM assets and resources 3. Manage FMS SCM resources to fulfill FMS SCM requirements 4. Establish FMS SCM plans 5. People Management 6. Stake holders management Identify, prioritize, and aggregate FMS SCM requirements: 1. Initiate Demand Planning to generate consensus forecasting with acceptable accuracy 2. Lead scheduled meeting with internal customers to identify requirements, align plans, and receive feedback (S&OP) 3. Customer service level agreements, standards, objective, and other special customer requirements 4. Set a system for early monitoring and management of customer special orders 5. Financial objectives related to inventory investment and cash flow management Develop and control FMS SCM assets and resources 1. FMS SCM human resource development (Training, on job training, job rotations, succession planning, performance appraisal) 2. Recruitment of FMS SCM calipers for main FMS SCM positions 3. Warehouse, material handling, and transportation development 4. Supplier long term contracting, service level agreements, pricing agreements, and supplier development 5. Transportation agreements for customer orders fast response Manage FMS SCM resources to fulfill FMS SCM requirements 1. Initiate and maintain FMS SCM processes that facilitate and smooth FMS SCM operations 2. Set, maintain, explain, and get the buy in of measurable objectives, and standards 3. Set internal FMS SCM performance monitoring system 4. Monitor internal and external customers feedback and complains 5. Set frequent group and one to one meetings with subordinates and key functions to review operations, complexities, and achievement Establish FMS SCM Plans 1. Align FMS SCM objectives with company strategic objectives, internal and external customer objectives 2. Initiate SCM business plan and related scheduled reviews 3. Get Operations department manager buy-in and signature to FMS SCM business plan 4. Cascade FMS SCM business plan to detailed business plan by major function setting objectives, standards, and KPI’s 5. Get key function buy-in and commitment to detailed business plan objectives People Management 1. Identify the goals and needs of his subordinates and provide opportunities through which they can continually advance their personal and professional development by providing evaluations, counseling, training, and disciplinary action as necessary 2. Conduct performance evaluations for subordinate personnel to ensure a well-qualified and motivated department 3. Develop a succession plan within the supply chain staff 4. Able to build, develop, and lead cross functional teams and develop the culture of work teams Stakeholders Management 1. Identify stakeholders requirements and manage their expectations 2. Work and build relationships with customers and suppliers, both internal and external 3. Perform supply chain integration through standard reports and direct communication with stakeholders
